Good morning everyone. Eight more days to Lucy, I am not being very patient! . And I haven't gotten a new puppy update...I need my puppy FIX

I bought a half gallon of Spumoni ice cream the other day. It is so hard to find and I just love it, second only to Jilbert's Zanzibar. Lo and behold, DH does not like spumoni ice cream. That means I get to eat the whole half gallon!

Cold today, but the sun is shining. Planning on making some bars and a casserole for our niece and her family. We are stopping by to see them in their new house and bringing some food. They had to move in yesterday, because they had to be out of their old house. But, they are in the middle of a total remodel and it is not even close to finished. Things never move along as quickly as they tell you and now the workers are going to have to work around two adults, a small child and two dogs. And this is only phase one of the project. I must be getting old, because this does not sound like anything I would even be remotely interested in living through!

I guess we forgot lol he normally doesn't get ticks because he's good about pulling them off himself haha but not having done the meds since November and having the VERY mild winter we've had and of course being on the top of his head, he can't get to them aha

Ugh! I'm worried about tick season around me as well. It's still too cold right now; but last year was a mild winter and the ticks were awful! I'm not used to them at all, but when we moved here in the fall they were everywhere.

Well, morning! I am up too. Wind and cold and I felt like having a cup of hot coffee. I have my new sourdough starter warming up on the counter for baking later today.
No wrestling of any kind for a few days, kinda nice to not have to go anywhere.

NFC, you need a bigger truck and gnarlier tires and a lead foot for those drifts and then they become fun but be warned, the three and four footers will still ruin your day..... unless they are narrow.....

Oh sourdough, I haven't made any in years but it's my summer goal to get a starter going again!

Oh my goodness we had crazy wind last night too - woke my toddler up. I'm still not used to it. (Wind of the outdoor weather kind btw)
