Anticipating the finished product - looking great so far. Walkways and porch shoveled, deck partially shoveled, we can get both vehicles out, but my parking area and drive are an icy mess. Princess had to come out and help. (Really it is to make sure that I don't 'overdo'.)

Good for her! I am usually accused of trying to drag the DH into some mischief and he gets all defensive saying that he has to go to work tomorrow or some such thing..... Like tonight for example. We, the DS$ and I, are heading off to Wed. night dinner at a friend's house and the DH will not go because he gets led astray by others, but yet blames it on me. I am not the one that cannot count or say no, that's for sure.
DS$ is released to wrestle with the condition that he wears his flexible cast for three more weeks. She said, " Any normal person would be released without conditions, but I know you guys and you need this until it is 100% healed!" So there you have it...... another x-ray in 3 weeks....
but he gets to wrestle and time will fly!

TK I didn't know countertops could be a DIU project. At first I thought concrete

. But now that I see it, it is going to be beautiful.

. Then you can do my countertops, (still formica from many years past).
