Good morning Cafe'. Beautiful day here and I hope to keep planting the garden after work. Got the leeks in yesterday and a few tomatoes. Left the transplants outside overnight, time to sink or swim.

Yes, we need new pics of Lucy MW!

Caught a rabbit next to my veggie boxes this morning.

Yea well "caught" wasn't really the right word. "Saw" it is more accurate. :/

Dudley did come very close to catching one the other evening. I'm not sure how it slipped thru the pickets in the fence without him getting some rabbit fluff between his teeth!

It is a very wet and loud morning so far. They say that it all will be over by sunup.
Hope that everybody is OK after this storm line moves on out of here.
Coffee, both pots and Tea water are ready.

Mornin' Scott!

Rockin' and rumblin' out there this mornin', hey, who needs an alarm clock, right? Been seeing those watch boxes popping up on the radar to the north of us, so I'm not gonna complain about a little deluge!

The folks over at Eagle Point may be complaining, though - tee times have been delayed for 3 hours. If the course looks anything like my yard, they suddenly have a whole bunch of new water hazards! The rain is almost out of here, though, and one nice thing about sandy soil - it drains fast.

When Otis and Rocky are 'visiting', they have morning 'pug wars'. Screaming, snarling, thrashing about - neither gets a mark on them. It is a good thing they are not pit bulls.

Morning Cafe

I'm in the midst of the rain right now, no major flood warnings for our area but we'll see how the fields and roads do. Living in the country is nice, I don't have to worry about flooded city streets and backed up sewers (was living in a city during one of those 100 year flood events...though admittedly I was out of town when it happened

).

Have a great weekend everyone, I have a rare hour to myself, getting cleaned up for a visit from a couple friends this weekend.

A little jealous of all the gardening happening in the cafe, I can't wait to add my produce!
