BYC Café

Sure has been quiet in the Cafe'! Hope the rain has moved on and things start to dry out for those in the storm areas.

Both pots of coffee are on, water is hot for tea. I'm going to try and get some more sleep so I'll stop back in later.

Morning cafe!

Looks like we're supposed to have a wonderful sunny day here in south WY...should reach the mid-70's. Hope those of you getting too much rain don't need to build any arks. Has anyone heard from TK? Maybe I've just missed his posts?

Have a good Saturday all!

Good Morning, All

It is a cool weekend here, just now it's 59.4°F and only getting up to about 69°F today.
Thanks for getting us started Friday!
N F C, are you guys having Summer before Spring?
Hi Sir Sour!
Have a good Weekend Everybody!

Mornin'. y'all! :frow

Much cooler day here, too. After all the rain yesterday morning, we had some pretty wild wind - would have blown your sheet clean into the next county, Spook! I reckon the golfers over at Eagle Point had quite a day of it . . . . didn't hear of any spectators injured by misdirected balls, but some of the big-name players didn't score so well; I reckon the wind had to be a factor. Do you get the impression that having a PGA event here is a big deal to this town? It's certainly nicer than the other stuff that's been on the news lately .:th

But in our news, Critter finally got to sail his boat! He's only had it since - what, December? - and has been itching to get it on the water since before he got it home. He's plum tickled with it. After the craziness of the 49'er and stodginess of the Force 5, I'm hoping the Hobie will strike a happy medium for him. Being a cat, it's more stable than a single hulled design. Critter said, "I had forgotten that, with this boat, a gust of wind gets translated into more speed rather than instability. It's almost too easy to sail." :he
