Why am I reminded of an old "Peanuts" cartoon that has Lucy sitting on the sidewalk with a really grumpy look on her face? Linus comments to Charlie Brown that Lucy is especially crabby that day, and when Charlie Brown asks him what he's doing, Linus replies, "setting out flares."
