How are the smoke conditions down your way, Friday?
I think we are getting the worst of it.
Pulled a stump out, he he he!
Fixed a neighbor's lawn mower for some horseradish.
Fixing a camper toilet now.
Almost time for some more coffee something!

Hi Cafe. We had a quiet 4th thank goodness. The neighbors set off all their fireworks the night before.
We had chef salads with lemon pepper chicken for supper.
I ordered some new tomato seeds from Berlin Seed Company.
It's an Amish company that sells organic seeds.
I am trying a couple new varieties for fall.
Mountain Pride a 6 oz. tomato that is resistant to cracking and
Mountain Merit resistant to blight with 10-11 oz tomatoes for late season.

I'll start more coffee and throw in some biscuits. Have a couple hours to kill before hubby and I head to the doc. Neurologist to consult on hubby's sciatica and pinched nerve. Hoping another surgery won't be necessary.

I didn't sleep well due to finger pain (kitchen accident, 7 stitches yesterday) so the coffee is most welcome!

Hope that finger stops hurting soon.
WV, I also hope the DH can find a non-surgical solution.
DS$ and I just did a firewood moving job from downhill to uphill and we are both feeling good now that we have cooled down a bit. A fourth of the time taken, love it! So much for the massive cross training though but I guess he will have time to do other fun things like splitting wood.

Thanks, I am. Hope you are too. And yeah, it's 12:30 here so I am going to bed soon too but figured I'd pop in. Normally I wouldn't go to sleep so early but we are in Maine and going to a festival tomorrow.
