Friday, sorry about your finger. Hope the pain subsides quickly and it heals easily.
Hubby's doc appt was as we expected. One of his discs is basically gone, so the pinched nerve will not get better without surgery to rebuild the disc. Doc suggested waiting until he pretty much can't stand the pain anymore. Steroid/epidural shots are an option for a little possible relief, but still not a solution. So i guess he is going to try to pick a time when 6-8 weeks downtown will be as convenient as possible. Never, right? But being healthy and prepared is better than an emergency situation. So probably within the next year or two...

I call it Memaw's Mighty Protein Bites. It's made from peanut butter, coconut, oatmeal, walnuts and graham crackers.

NFC, I wish I was there to help out. Aug was the worst burnout time for us during the tourist season and so may I suggest that you find something to treat yourself with after every week so you don't implode or worse, explode.
I have the horseshoer coming today. Not sure what to do with that; I have been too busy to ride but now my horse trailer is road worthy and I sure could appreciate a ride or two. More coffee is needed for sure!
