Thanks guys for the birthday wishes. Saw "Spider Man Homecoming," and my son took me to dinner at Cheesecake Factory - okay so the cheesecake was the best part. I had chocolate, carmel, pecan something. Most excellent.

I am 70 now and very surprised that it doesn't feel any different from 60,or 50 etc.

Yum, glad it was a good day. How was the movie?

DD, glad you enjoyed your birthday. Yum, Cheesecake Factory! Haven't been to one for years but still remember what a delicious treat that was.

Margie, thanks for the offer of help I like your idea of an occasional treat! Hope all goes well with the horse shoeing.

Excitement at the golf course yesterday...DH was out on the 6th green talking with a member when a rattlesnake fell out of a nearby tree. A bird's nest came down with it, apparently the snake was after the eggs and they both came down. DH quickly dispatched it.

wild deal with the snake. We found a black snake on top of my ducks nest of eggs a couple weeks ago. Ducklings are hatching now, i think. pretty sure i just saw an eyeball peeking out from under her wing.

Morning! That was a smart rattlesnake.
Shoeing went well. My horses are very easy to deal with. No rodeo...

I have no clue what they are saying since I haven't had the TV or radio on in months. Haven't read a newspaper either. But it's sure acting like it since we are getting pop-up afternoon thunderstorms and the humidity is up a tiny bit. Guess I should check out the local station's weather page.
