Me too! He is very tough, can take an unusual amount of pain. Has been known to go to work with kidney stones!

I tried to get him to go to the hospital because there is swelling on his back and its very tender to the touch. I told him he might have internal bleeding. Stubborn.

He will only go if it gets really bad. I told him to wake me up any time he wants to go. Last time i took him they admitted him to the ICU! They screwed up his surgery and he was bleeding internally. I wish he would listen but maybe he will go tomorrow...

Hopefully he will! The back is nothing to mess with and with it being swollen, it could be bad. Of course it might not be and I'm a worry wart but still

I am not happy about the situation but i can't make him go so all i can do is sleep and hope he develops a brain over night!

MEN what can you do with them Like my brother. Years ago we were out for breakfast, and I noticed he wasn't talking and he would have something on his fork but not try to eat it. He said he was fine- women know better. Then he kept falling alseep with the fork in mid-air.

I went and ask the hostess to please call an ambulance for him. My brother has been diabetic since college. The paramedic asked him a few questions, like where are you, what day is it. Got them right until they asked his name. No reply. They tested his blood sugar and saw it was quite low. He wouldn't drink orange juice so they took him off to the hospital.

Once he was stabilized - he cussed me out top to bottom because the "wrong" ambulance was called and he would have to pay in full. With his insurance they would have paid for a different ambulance service. How would I know? I would do the same thing again if it happened.

After that I asked for a list of his meds and doctors etc. - but he wouldn't update anything so that was useless.
