'Al' sounds great. Are your boys home schooled ? What will you do about school. Our son was 33 when he got married. Daughter said the reason she and son couldn't find a long term relationship was because the Princess and I had such a perfect marriage. :th

Where did we go wrong ? :he Didn't they know this is work ?

You made it look too easy sour.:)

We did. I guess they were shielded from reality. They very rarely saw us argue - not that it didn't happen. We (especially the Princess) vowed to create a different environment than both of us experienced as kids.

Spouse is adamant. We do not move, unless spouse is dead. End of story. That's it.

I guess I could divorce, but man, not enough money for that.

Anyway, if I moved I would move to a place where I could BAKE myself in the sun! I love 90° heat. When I lived in Texas I hated the 2 months of winter that we had.

I do love the scenery in WY, very pretty, my kind of place. But too cold for me.

As to moving inside the state, 1. we are never again allowed to move. So an in-state move is still a move and not allowed. 2. There isn't a warmer part of Alaska, unless I am happy to give up sunshine. The Southeast of Alaska is warmer but is rainforest cloudy.

Yep, a good snow cover is needed to keep the plants alive over winter.

That infection still getting better?

That sucks :/

And ohhh I must have read wrong, thought I read there were warmer parts

Pretty sure @Alaskan is south :) Besides, "pretty warm" is pretty relative! And the dark winters...not much you can do about sunlight unless you move farther south.

I would have the same issues, the lack of sunlight in the winters would get to me for sure.

Yeah, I thought I read that some parts were as warm as the continental United States

well, an old friend is finally getting married. .. I think he is 37ish. He has never been married.

he invited me to the wedding. ..and my parents are paying for me and 2 kids to attend. That will be nice, and a LITTLE bit more light (not much, he is NOT in Texas). But spouse has agreed to let me and a couple kids be gone for a full month. It has been forever since the kids I will take (# 3 and 4) have left this tiny town in which we live.

Anyway, it should be good. Friend's mom is friends with my mom, so my mom is happy to pay and come too.

That will be nice!!!
