Looks like everyone had a good holiday
We got a big dumping of snow and now a deep freeze.
The snow has been great, I've been out x-country skiing 4 times already and have made a really lovely track through our woods.
@Michelle Farmer-Brown sorry you're having heat troubles. We stupidly let the propane run out so have been heating with wood the last two days, but luckily we're on the grid so electric heaters in the rooms at night. So nothings really changed for us expect the mornings are cold.
Was up early getting the fire going and then out to the chickens - need to do a second check now and see how they're doing, only the Brahmas were off the roost this morning, can't really blame them when it's -30 out.

Guess it just took them a week to get used to the cold. Saw a set of tracks when I went out to the coop.
.We'll soon be car shopping, just not to soon.
