BYC Café

I've never driven but, my father, brother, sister, niece & son have had Toyotas - even the cheaper models have been excellent. They hold up well too. Now my brother & son are on the waiting list for a Tesla 3, I think they call it. Could take years

I made the mistake of letting the guineas out after 2 months in the hoop coop. Not sure i will find them in the run of their old coop or up in a tree! So tired of these issues!

good grief! I would have thought that 2 months in the coop and they would have learned that it was their home!

As to cars, Subarus are my favorite.

found a few looking in Olympia we will go look at Kia has some trade ins of other cars also they call certified pre own

We had a Kia Soul and loved it, good gas mileage, plenty of headroom (DH is 6') and it was amazing how much stuff you could stow in the back...we once hauled a refrigerator in there. I'd still have that car if DH hadn't totaled it chasing robbers on a country road :hit

Good luck in your hunt Penny!

-29 today. smiley brrr.gif it made it up to -20 yesterday. It was so much easier to tend to the animals. Supposedly we're about to get another arctic blast. I found some wood that is actually giving off some heat.
Glad you're staying warm Tree.
My Chevy Colorado broke down 2 years ago. The place I took it for repairs said "it's bad". Since it was 10 years old we figured we better go vehicle shopping. Settled on a GMC Sierra. The "work" model was ideal... no bells and whistles and no carpeting so it was ideal for hauling. Then the sales guy asked where I worked. Turns out that GM has deals with numerous companies... got the truck for dealer cost + $1000. Saved $12K just for working @ Home Depot.
It turns out that the Colorado was a minor fix. So now we each have a vehicle. :)
