I love Speckled Sussex! One of the breeds I want to try. They are so pretty. How do you like them?

Hmm that's true!

If I had my way (and the money), I would have probably double or triple the amount of chickens, at least 2-3 dogs, and at least 2 cats, goats, and way more animals
I had 20+ breeds in TN, my SS and polish were the ones i decided to buy here because i love them both. Great personalities!
And you probably don't have time for all those critters if you are not unemployed or retired. Just my opinion, animals are work no matter how you slice it unless you can hire caretakers.

Animals are not for the squeamish nor the dainty ones high heels and chicken dung do not get along Polish are the ones I have been trying to get the gal my EE come from is doing some kind of order that mixes many breeds in it you ask for 49 and there may be 15 breeds.. She said she will give me the polish if there is any we live like 2 1/2 hours away from each other

Well, I don't work right now so plenty if time but then of course I'm not making any money either. Plus I think I need to finish school first. I'm almost done.

And of course there's the problem of still living with my parents ha

I probably won't get either for a while though since I don't feel like setting up a whole other pen and building another shelter after just building the coop or buying fence etc. And i dont think gator would like another dog, he needs all the attention ha and my brother is allergic to cats so I don't think we could get a second one unless I kept it in the basement.

But I don't think goats or chickems would be too too much work sonce they're pretty self sufficient. I was gonna say I don't think dogs are much work but then I realized they're probably the most work of all haha

But even so, I wouldn't get a crazy high energy or intelligent breed, even though I really want to.

Maybe another retriever or something

That'd be awesome.
