Thank you Sourland for your kind wishes. Everything went ok yesterday and we have been approved to start IVF - which I am sure will be a whole new adventure for us, no matter how it turns out.
Mtn Margie - cool pictures! Sure beats the dusty and dry conditions we are currently in! Actually, I shouldn't complain - today is going to drop down to 88F (31C) so that is much cooler than we have had of late. It's back up again to 95F tomorrow, but at least we get a little relief!
Today I am going into town for a leisurely lunch with my sister. I've half cleaned the chicken coop, so the other half will have to wait until when I get home. That should help me burn off any cake that gets consumed at lunch, anyway!
Margie - great pictures! How I miss mountains. I'm in the wrong state...some mornings I see distant embankments of clouds and if I squint and pretend, I'm looking at mountains in CA..
Good morning again! Well the kids are off to school finally, an hour late because the bus got stuck coming into the ranch and with only one way in/ out all of the kids just had to wait for something to happen. Hubby was stressed that he couldn't get to work when he usually does, but now he is on his way as well and so here I sit drinking coffee and typing. After chicken chores, I will post another snow pict for grins. ( Just so y'all can cool off.)

Okay, I'm done. I got a new camera for Christmas, can you tell?
I've only ever seen snow once. In 1986 (in my home town) it snowed for a few hours but it was so light it melted before it hit the ground. I never got to see that beautiful white carpet of snow you guys have.
Right now it's reasonably cool outside here, but within the next 4 hours it is predicted to hit about 98F.
The chooks have all gone broody on me, no-one is laying, and no-one is getting their regular fried eggs on toast breakfast.
