Snakes? Not too many, ( I know you guys find that hard to believe), just gardeners that come out in summer and eat bugs and minnows. Down on the plains, there are rattlesnakes though.
I think the most persnickety snake in the US is the Mojave Rattlesnake. They can get pretty cross.
