I don't let them stay in longer than 24 hours. I have had chicks die after that time in the incubator

I have more eggs to lock down in there! So perhaps some polish chicks will hatch.

I think about 9 of 12 CCL eggs are growing well in the Brinsea!

So I wasn't able to do the recipe perfectly and they did come out a little cake-y. But cookies are cookies (and the cookie dough was divine )

Now that finals are over his fever is finally down! He still has a dreadful cough. Hope that passes quickly, because right now it sounds like he keeps trying to hack up a lung.

Thanks for the coffee Deb, getting a little late this morning but I've been trying to tackle the neglected kitchen. When I'm sick the mess around here quadruples.

I've completely flaked on the no-sugar thing; though I didn't intend it to be permanent. Anyway, I think I'm going to make these today (I'm sure mine will not look like this!):

I have a bunch of strawberries I froze last June; I think I'd better use them up before the season comes around again!
Made strawberry pancakes yesterday to the little one's absolute delight.
