It wouldn't be so bad, but the older I get, the less I like driving in the dark. Rain makes it even worse. 15 minutes of country roads (deer running all over the place!) 45 minutes on the interstate.

But it looks like its going to be a beautiful day!

I'd take the deer over the interstate drivers...I hate driving on interstates, day or night. I guess that rules out any chance of a career as an over the road trucker for me.

Be safe!

But, But, it's deer season isn't? 15 min's of deer wanting to be shot or hit on road and don't even use up a tag, sounds good to me!! The 45 min's of interstate just plain suck.
Enjoy what you can.

I have been berating myself for a while now about being scared to drive anymore.
All of our vehicles are either really big and all blind spots, or very old with dodgy transmission computers.
So, I also hate that my sleepy town is now a huge traffic clogged city full of people texting on cell phones.
I don't want to have to look out for their safety too.
Maybe if I were younger... but my son hates driving around here too.
Or maybe it is just what we have to drive.
I don't know.
I feel a bit better knowing that you all don't enjoy it either.

I don't mind the driving; I don't like trying to park my big truck in tiny car spaces. I take up two and sometimes four spaces depending on how the lot is painted. Generally I park on the fringe and walk, which is healthier anyway, so as not to irritate the close parkers.
A JC memory just came to mind. She said that I was probably a taxi driver in a previous life and I am pretty sure that was a compliment, not a complaint on my driving. LOL!

they need updated to a new windows version.
Scott ( who knows his truck don't have a pc for the trany)

The miserable part is that the transmission has been fixed, but the sensor that tells the car that it works, doesn't work.
and nobody knows how to replace it because it requires a computer reading transmission chip reader.. and the honest guys around here can not afford to get it.
And you do not want to drive onto the jeep lot with a twenty year old jeep. They will tell you it is 3 seconds away from exploding if they think they can scare you into buying another jeep.
