I would think it might be a little late for this Christmas, no? But it might be a good idea for next year. Looks like you have ducks from your picture? Care requirements shouldn’t be too different I wouldn’t think. But I’ve never had either, only chickens. But good luck either way.
Oh I meant for next year...lol...ofc too late now. We raised turkeys for thanksgiving. And yupp we got 5 lovely ducks. 3 chocolate muscovys and one silver apple yard and one Welsh harliquinn. We raised two broad breasted bronze turkeys. Breast meat alone on one weighed 15 pounds and that was after I butchered it. The turkeys where only 5 months old too!!

That is OMG like heaven on a cake. I wish it wasn't so fattening or bad for ya because it tastes oh so good.

Agreed on all points! Lol sooo good.

Have you guys ever tried Halavah, it's a middle eastern treat. It's made from ground sesame seeds. My late Arab doctor told me they put it on bread and eat it like a sandwich. Jews generally have it as a treat. It's a taste you have to acquire and extremely rich. That means even I cannot eat more than a little bit at a time.

Comes in flavors too. Generally it is a light color and may have pistachios in it, sometimes dipped in dark chocolate. You can also get it in a light chocolate color/flavor. I've seen it in a grocery out here and you'll definitely find it in Arab neighborhoods.

Texture is dry and crumbly and it is expensive. Plus the texture makes it very hard to slice to an exact weight.
