My cat woke me up...and then he went back to sleep. Thanks for the coffee, I brought cinnamon rolls to go along with it.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee and grub Shad and NFC. I'll take my cinnamon roll for later if that's ok.

Was up for a couple hours in the night. Lots of pressure change with the weather and a headache woke mewent outside in the cold air for a while, dogs came with me. We heard the owls hooting but didn't see them. The sky was fairly clear and I could make out a few constellations. I love the night. I managed to go back to sleep for a few more hours after

Good morning, Café. I've brewed another pot. @Mtn Margie, congratulations to son and his team. He must be really stoked. Today we get our Christmas tree. Went on Monday, but they were closed . Apparently they are only open on Fri, Sat, Sun due to lack of help.

Have fun getting your tree Sour! Hey, if you want to work a little part time job for a couple weeks, maybe you could sell trees. I'd do it, kind of sounds like fun.

Fellow who operates the farm (83) had his wife (much younger) and 3 grandsons helping today. He did say he doesn't know how much longer he is going to do this. They also have strawberry picking and sweet corn sales in addition to some beef cattle. Got a Nordeman Fir sp. Nice fragrant tree that in our experience holds it's needles well. We have it set up in our bedroom and will decorate tonight. Looks like we will start baking cookies tomorrow. Princess had made the doughs that need to be refrigerated 24 hours before use.

Your tree sounds lovely Sour! I used to work with a woman who's family operated a Christmas tree farm. She always said no one could understand how much work it is unless they do it and it's actually year round work to produce nice trees. Just another form of farming I guess.

Princess has the cookie thing well organized and I suppose by now you know your part of the process. Hope you have fun doing it together!
