I am not on a phone.
Large is sometimes aggravating.
I wanted to post a fried egg, but it was the size of a dinner plate... I couldn't stomach that.

Okay, again....,
Put your brains in gear, yes it is the morning but y'all have had coffee, so here is the thing that I got a call on....... are you ready?
Save the ducks plan....
Background info = someone this Spring dumped some ducks on one of our lakes, they were young teenage ducks, now they are mallards, but still not flying away and slowly getting weeded out of the gene pool as the lakes are freezing over.
There are now three left out of 9 ish and someone wants to bring them home for the winter so they don't all get eaten as they appear to not be able to fly more that 30 feet or so. They are kinda wild and you can't get between them and the lake but they will eat out of your hand. We have no big net on a stick so......
I am thinking tarp / sheet on the ground with ties on the corners and sides, food in the middle, pick up quick........ maybe

I personally would let Nature take her course, but someone wants my help.
Any experienced duck catchers out there or wonderful insights into my adventure here......,,, HELP!!!!!

do you have a live trap? or a big box that you can prop it up on a stick?
Can I watch?
Have to run down and corner the DW's ducks to get ahold of them, feed under a big box works for me.
