@Shadrach, and all of this is why I hate to travel this time of year. Our 55th wedding anniversary is on 1/25 and we plan a trip, but are not going until sometime in March because of concerns about the animals.

Yup, the responsibility and inconvenience bit doesn't seem to get mentioned much in the 'chickens are so much fun' stuff.

Morning! Breezy here and snow.... could be worse so not going to complain. Heading off to town today to get feed and stuff.

Good morning Cafe. It will get up to 76 today, but it's suppose to rain later, and continue raining until Sat. Sometime Friday, the cloud cover will lift, and the temps will start dropping again.

Our new tree, hoping to decorate our tree today.

As soon as the Princess gets organized we are taking grave blankets to her parents' and grandmother's graves. Then a stop at European Provisions for kielbasa, stuffed cabbage, pierogis, home made soup, etc. Late lunch at Red Lobster and then back home.
