I'm going to disappoint you I'm afraid.
I just know that after the birth of Christ three kings and three wise men visited the stable.
For some reason the Catalans celebrate the visit of the three Kings.

No disappointment here Shad that is how it happened silly but the folks here in USA do not seem ever to have celebrated the three Wise Men nor the Three Kings

I don't feel guilty at all, its 73°F, sunny, light breeze. Didn't get the bad weather they said we would last night, just a little over 1" of rain in about 15 minutes, then it was gone...headed into Louisiana and regions up North.
Can't believe the weather forecasts here.:(

Is New Year a big thing for all of you?
The big deal here is Three Kings Night; I think it's on the 6th of Jan.

New Year's Eve is traditionally a big party night. Some like to go out and some (the smarter ones) stay home. The point is to stay up until midnight, give your special someone a kiss and make a lot of noise shouting "Happy New Year". Usually some sort of adult beverage is involved. And the Auld Lang Syne song is sang.

It's also referred to as Amateur Night (at least in come circles) as that is the night where a lot of people who may not over-indulge otherwise, get smashed out of their minds and cause chaos for everyone else.

DH & I are way past any of that nonsense...we fall asleep around 9pm and tell each other Happy New Year over the next mornings cup of coffee.

I decided that alcohol wasn't my drug very many years ago at a New Years Eve party.
Eleven stitches, two charges of assault and three days in police custody finally got the point home.:(

Sean we've been having temps in the 40's which to us is 70's, so doing fine here . We are supposed to get rain and high highs but, so what else is new? Glad you didn't have a tornado :celebrate. Even my Diva powers are no match for that.

My son woke me from the start of a very nice dream :rant to say we are going to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I'll go but, I won't enjoy it MUCH! I'll throw the scale out tomorrow.

Sounds like a scar and a great story to go with it, Shad...

Still drinking coffee here. Our predicted forecast...

Blah, I can't 'like' that Margie. Our weather is nothing but cold, grey skies and snow flurries. Temps overnight in the 6* to -6* range. Blah!
