Lord knows I need it. Princess woke me up at 2:30 violently ill, and then daughter and SIL showed up at 6:30 to pick up the pugs and Jeter the lab. Son and family are supposed to get here early afternoon for 'Christmas'. Thought we would have to cancel, but Princess seems okay. Food poisoning ?

It was a bit scary. She thought that she was going to pass out. Had to help her back to bed, and that was difficult. Not because she is heavy, but because I am old and shoulders are a mess. I'll be doing all the cooking and will help her clean up now that daughter's dogs have gone home.

That part I can handle. The almost fainting is a bit scary. She woke up feeling okay, but quickly got shaky again - low electrolytes ? Gave her some gator ade, and called son and cancelled their visit today.

I did a 'rough' clean up on the house and have seated her in her chair with a blankie in front of the television. She's a big football fan so she can watch games and sleep today. I have forbidden her from doing any cleaning - like I have ever been able to tell the woman anything.
