Yea, I use to live up that way, long time ago....had alot more snow and ice storms back then and not as many Yankees, everybody was pretty good at driving in it back then...down here if someone pees on the sidewalk they have a wreak.between that and roll over accidents...very rarely saw one up there, there's one or two every night down here.

rain can be better than mountainous snow levels. I've seen snow hide in the shade even on days of 70F or better

Coffee is on the stove. I haven't been out for bread yet.
Everything was frozen this morning. None of the outside taps worked.
The sun is out now and it looks like it's going to be a lovely day.
