Well I feel better now. Son is/has been on furlough because of the government shutdown, and I have been worried. Family was supposed to visit this weekend, but he called to cancel due to impending snow storm. I steeled myself and minded his business - asked if he was okay financially. He said, "If you have that million dollar start up that Trump said is standard, I'll take it." Don't know where he gets that smarta$$ from, but bottom line is that he is okay and will let me know if they need help. Neither kid has come to me with their hands out since being on their own. We did help with adoption costs on his two kids, but we raised two self sufficient people.
