29 brrr-grees outside this morning; our first frost of the season. Somebody put fresh batteries in Betsy and Sydney; they are tearing around, bucking and playing. Latte is trotting around with her tail flagged and snorting clouds of steam - she'd like to buck and tear, too, but thanks to all that water, she doesn't have room to really get going. Blondie - poor baby, she'd like to join in, but though the mind is willing, the flesh is too sore still, though I did see her walk a couple of fast circles. Hopefully soon, baby girl . . . .



Fill 'er up, Scott. I need some energy if I'm going to face those beasts!

Another hot chocolate day for me today. It's supposed to warm up a bit starting tonight (mid-50's) with a high of 80 predicted for Saturday. Oh yeah!

They sure can get full of it when it's a bit frosty out!
