Yes, I am pleased. The whole point of writing such articles is for them to be read.

Good morning cafe

I was in bed at 7 pm last night, sound asleep. I didn't get up until 0530 this morning! I guess two nights of little sleep and large amounts of yard work did the trick. I'm awake and energetic but my head is trying to hurt with the rain rolling in.

Have a great day everyone, I'm headed out for animal chores and then grocery shopping.

Of course they are! You're an excellent author with keen observations and provide educational information that helps all chicken owners understand their flocks better and enable them to become better care takers.

I love how people ever thought that the escort call was a celebratory egg song. Talk about anthropomorphising!

I've got mine shut into the run trying to get Lucy to lay in the main coop instead of the isolation coop. I haven't heard a peep out of any of them yet I keep finding eggs?!

Good to hear you got a good night's sleep, IM. I've found that physical exhaustion is a good cure for periodic insomnia.

It's been so long since I've seen an egg, I wouldn't much care where one was laid. Lazy girls!
