Well, that's the scaly leg mite round done.
it's very strange. In Tribe 2, mum doesn't get it. Her first son and daughter don't/didn't either. The second lot, both pick it up the second they step out of the coop.:confused:
The next generation are still too young to tell, but they're looking good atm.
Only one in Tribe 3 seems to get it.:confused:
The males in Tribe 1 get it but the females don't.
The new guys (quarantines) all had it.

Makes you think there might be some kind of inherited immunity.

Similar situation here. I have one bantam hen that must be 4 or 5. Her scales are perfect. Most of my other birds pick it up at about 1 yr of age and I have to treat. I wish I knew what factors were influencing it.
