I finally made the cookies I was supposed to have during the hollidays. I stalled so long I had to replace two of the ingredients that were expired before now. Anyway it only took two hours but, they have to sit in the fridge over night, Then the easy part is just slicing them off the roll and baking for a short time. Ta Dah!!

When I have "that kind of day," I self medicate with ice cream,or take nap. No real harm done.

I would like to send Sir Sean some of the cookies but, I don't think he would accept them.

He was kind enough to send me his "poor man's" fruitcake at Christmas, even though he was going through a whole lot of pain. I was taught since childhood, to always respond with another treat.

The cookies are past winners of the Pillsbury Bakeoff, the originator made $$$$ off of them. Folks tell me they are great with coffee but, I just have them plain or with diet , caffeine coke. They freeze very well and I've been known to eat them before they thaw out.

Coffee is one the stove. There are some more Typhoo tea bags there for you Sean.
In the catering warehouses you can buy 1200 Typhoo tea bags for a bit over £10/$11.
In the shops here about $1.5 for 40.

Yard work is waiting for me. Clipping, feeding, watering. I'm ready for something to keep me busy and off my butt today.
