Well, yes and no.
Yes in that they are both oxidizers. The vetericyn is a very weak (0.010%) solution of hypochlorous acid (HClO), which is an oxidizer. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is usually sold in 3 or 10% solutions and is a stronger oxidizer.
No in that Vetericyn is a much milder oxidizer and will not attack healthy tissue the way H2O2 can.

I like that answer! We used to get Phiso hex or derm when I was growing up. It was able to kill ring worm! It was removed from market though. Vetericyn reminds me of it but has different active ingredients

I remember when Hexaclorophine was taken off the market. Unfortunately too late for a litter of puppies I had. I was washing my hands with it before each tube feeding, ended up losing every puppy in the litter. I thought I was being careful. Right after that it was taken off the market because of being toxic. Very painful lesson.

someone gave me tea just like that after Xmas. I think they were re-gifting even though they know I don't drink tea. My brother passed it along to a tea lover at work.

Thursday my favorite bus driver(the only woman) gave me a gift - . Turns out she re-gifted me with something I gave to amuse her while she was sick over a year ago.
She had said she enjoyed the same kind of word puzzles I did.

Oh I had a long day full of mild storms. Chased a trash can across the yard to the amusement of my pig who kept grunting at me. Caught a few critters in my traps. Released two opossums further into the woods. Found some deer bedding down. Today was a long but fulfilling day.

It is now a prescription medication. It is very useful but needs to be used carefully and for certain conditions.
