If blackberries will grow, so will gooseberries.

I guess they just need to be cultivated here, you sure don't see them growing wild like blackberries.

Just checked the state extension agent page 'While they are permitted here, they may be prone to the white pine blister blight, and probably will not thrive in the high humidity and heat.'

Well right now they are soaking overnight in a brain slurry type mixture
