You'll love her, I'm sure. They aren't cuddly but boy do they have sass and personality. Mine are talkative little girls.
Yes, last Monday. She was on CL. Ridiculously low price, so I called. The people clearly didnt care much for the bird and said the were selling the cage and throwing in the bird for free!! Of course I needed to rescue her. She's super sweet and even sings Twinkle Twinkle little star. She is barely 10 years old! I already love her alot.Did you just get her??

I think you're gonna love your Leghorns, Kelsey, everyone that has them says that they are great birds! They sound amazing!!! I hope I like her!!
That is very true!! I am also getting some other birds that should be good for that. Another Easter Egger and then a Delaware, a Speckled Sussex, a Partridge Rock, and of course the White Leghorn. I already have 1 Barred Rock, 2 Black Australorps, 2 Buff Orpingtons, and 2 Easter Eggers. I love them all but I wanted to break up the solid colors a bit and the orange and black thing I have going ha especially since before I had 3 BOs and one of my EEs is reddish gold even though she is also laced with black, it is A LOT of orange. Plus a lot of black birds with the BAs and the rock. So hopefully this will break things up a little!! And I have wanted a Sussex for a long time.
True! I mostly care about personality, looks, and of course egg laying.
Awww poor thing!!! Glad you rescued her!!! Who knows where she would have ended up!!!she sounds like she is in a very good home now with you!! She sounds like a great bird. What kind of parrot is she? She kind of looks like maybe an Amazon? Quaker?

We kind of did what you are doing and got a colorful flock. Our Splash Andalusian was supposed to be a Leghorn, but Meyer had a bad hatch and sent our crazy Etta Blue. We love her though!
