Andalusians are supposed to be cool birds too!! Did you ever get your Leghorn? And I am getting mine from Meyer too! And my current ones are from there too!!

I originally wanted a mix cause I never knew what kind I wanted and wanted to try a bunch but now I’m getting ones I’ve wanted a while lol

I love my Andelulian, but she has had alot of problems laying. She was way late to start laying, then we changed her diet to a higher protein and she started laying, but the shells were very thin. Now we are back to 16% layer feed and lots of calcium supplement and seeing better shell thickness. She is super friendly and is very "nice" to our new rooster!

When I was breeding dogs, I sold one to a lady from West Viriginia. We got to be good friends. She told me she got married at 15 to the school principal. That really knocked me for a loop. They've been married a long time and have two adult sons.

Didn't sound kosher to me. A real conflict of interest. But, different strokes for different folks, in different states. I don't remember if she graduated or not but, guess it didn't matter.

What a difference. When I was 12, I attended a birthday party for my in school boy friend. The kids played "How dark is the closet." The boys got to kiss their chosen one. I can't believe how high octane that was. I really saw "sparks" - mainly because it was January very cold, and the carpet was wool. Well it's laughable now but......still laughing.
