We have Auburn University vet school too, he was going to be seen by someone no matter. Dr Buddy Bruce is actually referred on the BYC site as an avian vet. We'll see if its warranted.

Well, vet's receptionist told me he would call me with an update. No call. I have a dentists appointment tomorrow; pre-paid, to have a crown on my tooth. Have to take a Halcion tonight and 1 and1/2 before my appointment because I'm so frightened of the drill. He better call me first thing in the morning, and let me get him. Because I'm a light weight, and will be asleep after I go to the dentist! This sucks and I'm wishing I'd gone to the vet school with my poor Roo. At least they would have called.
