Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

It's still relatively cool outside at 63. Plan to get the dogs out for a run as soon as my pain meds have a chance to kick in.

Brodhi got to stay another night. Piper is in her glory. I don't think they'll wake up the kid. I've been told he slept through a fire alarm going off in his house before he moved up here.

My brother could sleep through his clock radio, full blast, inches from his ear.

Was cool but clammy 73 this morning, 95 forecast this afternoon.

Had a ripping storm move thru last evening, was short but intense.
Couple power flickers but it stayed on.

Took out a dose of electrolytes for the chooks.
It's disgusting out there, not much better inside.

Let the clucky out late yesterday and blocked the nests until lockup, even tho she was still clucking I didn't feel right keeping her crated in the heat. Fully expected to find her in a nest this morning, but she wasn't. She still out and about... and still clucking. <shrugs>

Enjoying my last cool morning before I head east into the swampy weather.

I left super early to get the dogs out for a run. All of the grass has been knocked down and is in rows. They looked like they were running hurdles through the fields! They certainly did have fun.
