BYC Café

You probably know that rebrascora has a flock with Mareks. I find her very approachable and she knows a lot about the disease. It might be worth having a chat.
I'll look forward to your article.:hugs

Edit, I see rebrascora has already been suggested.

Thanks Shad. I sent her a PM to see if she'd mind answering a few questions. I hate just reaching out to people I don't know but she seems pretty nice in the posts I've come upon.

Awww they are all so cute!!

I think introduced properly it can go well.

Aw yeah that’s how Gator was!! Lol he tolerated, even liked, some dogs, but others he hated lol he was more a people dog. Huge cuddle bug.

And thanks! They definitely are. They are technically my brother’s and his fiancé’s dogs though but I walk them and play/hang out/whatever twice a week usually but sometimes more or less and also dog sit for them. And I talk about them a lot as if they are my own LOL love my fur niece and fur nephew. :lau

They adopted Libby first in February of last year at 12 weeks old and then they got Frank in September and I think he was around 16 weeks old so they’re similar ages but Libby is a little bit older. She turned a year old I think November or December and Frank they think his birthday is early June so he’s around a year old now. He just got neutered today. :hit

So cute!

Awe, great pictures! You take pictures of them like I take pictures of mine  One is never enough!

IM, I'm sorry you're having to go through all of this. :hugs

Thank you GAC :hugs. I'm going to focus on giving the chicks the best possible chances I can and hope they're tough enough to beat this nasty bug! They hatched from eggs from a breeder I respect and have purchased pullets from that were quite healthy so I think they have a fighting chance :)

I'm in contact with a guy in Finland. He's trying to save/repopulate a particular land race breed of chicken there. He has a multicoop keeping system on a larger scale than mine; 9 coops if my memory serves me. The last email I had from him he was very down. He lost some coops in bad weather and couldn't afford to replace them. Apparently he got a grant from his local authority to not only replace the coops but increase his flock size.:clap

Drag arse tired and sore - that would just about describe me. Tomorrow I will do nothing but play. Brewed a fresh pot of coffee because I was seriously caffeine deprived. Have at it friends.
Thank you! I need a cup to get me through the rest of the day.

That's incredible. I had no idea there were organizations that would support such a thing. It's good to know.

And the screenshots. God. So many screenshots and memes :lau
