BYC Café

One time a couple months ago Frank and Libby literally ate my Bible :lau  so I get it lol Frank and Libby also once destroyed several new magazines before FSIL got to read them and he’s chewed holes in the rug and eaten lots of other stuff lol so I totally relate! He is crated while they leave now. Well, he always has been but then one time recently they thought they would try leaving him out this time and crating her because they thought that Libby instigated it and Frank just went along with it since they did it when together but not when separated (one crated) and Frank is usually “the good one” so they thought they’d try letting him out... big mistake. He ate/chewed up/pulled down 3 shelves worth of stuff (they have like a 3 tiered shelf/bookcase/stand type thing in the kitchen to hold all sorts of random miscellaneous stuff) and chewed up a new package (but thankfully didn’t actually eat/damage the contents), etc. so now they know that he is definitely the one that does it all and not Libby and in fact Libby probably doesn’t participate at all (though she did one time get into the garbage before they got him) soooo.... now they know it’s not her fault and he definitely has to be the one to be crated. :lau

Dani update: Bloodwork results are in and are excellent. Our decision - we are going to skip the internist visit. Metastases or not, I want that tumor removed before it ruptures and she bleeds out. If she is going to die of metastatic cancer anyways, maybe we can at least buy her a bit of time. If it is non malignant, maybe we can buy her a lot of time. The concern is that such tumors can rupture during surgery resulting in a bleed out on the table. I'm not a gambler, but I will take that gamble. She is scheduled for surgery a week from today.

This is excellent news! Good luck with her surgery. I think this is the best decision for her. :fl

I wanted to thank everyone for their likes and kind remarks on my post about my wife struggling with her injuries after her falling . Appreciate the recognition!

Thank you for keeping us updated on Becca. I hope she starts to feel better soon. We all miss her.

Afternoon cup anyone? I went to lunch with my folks while they were getting their car serviced today. The puppies had a rave while I was away. This was a 702 page book that I was reading, was about 3/4 done. The mess goes from my bedroom to the living room :rantDD don't even try.

"Ben" there, done THAT!! Oh, how frustrating it is to be right at the climactic ending of the book to come home and find it in shreds and strewn far and wide throughout the house. And Ben was doing this nonsense from 18 to 24 months old. He should have known better by that age.
He is still a kleptomaniac. You never know what he's going to steal next. If you're missing something, the first places you look are in his beds.

:gigthanks. My daughter had the same book so I'm hoping she still does. I might just get to finish it.

When things are missing here I go look in the yard. They're usually there in pieces. Not even The Hulk could stand up to Frank

Crazy dogs :gig

We had to replace the entire kitchen floor when Chewwi was a pup for chewing up the floor. Earned his name.

Oh my, he certainly did! We used to leave our JRT in the kitchen as a puppy and he chewed all the corners off the baseboards and managed to eat the corner off one of the lower cabinets. Puppies sometimes :barnie

Hey you're welcome in anytime! I hope you're both doing ok.

Er, that's Abby, Frank's punk little sister.

How aggravating! Are you going back again to trsted for birds Cap?
I go back next week to talk to the doctor and get results. Hoping to get it done then.

Our cats steal stuff. Like ear drops, pencils, remote controls....never to be seen again in the same room. They must hide the sruff!

Not cool dogs. Not cool! :rant I have to keep the pugs locked up when they're not supervised. 1hr out to lunch = 1hr of clean up. I refuse to tolerate it. They're good as gold in their Pug Pen.

Dang, she got big quick! Must be all those good books shes eating. :lau
