Morning Cafe

Hope Dave reports in today so we know he made it through the storm ok.

Thanks for the coffee Shad! What are you up to today?

Just a major thunder storm. Plenty of funnel clouds though. My oldest dog hates storms and he was hiding in my bed. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get him to stay off so I just gave in. Lake water level raised but the ducks love it.

Good morning cafe :frow

Thanks for the coffee Shad.

Since @N F C was here and drinks two cups all the time I made fresh coffee for the rest of us

I also hope we hear from Dave, I was thinking about him and the rest of the folks potentially in harms way last night.

Have a great day everyone.

Hey, I saw that! And so I had 3 cups :plbb

Off to get allergy testing done today. Have a terrific day my friends.

Hope the allergy testing goes ok Cap.

Glad it turned out to just be a thunder storm Dave! Poor dog, I'm sure he felt safer in your bed.

I'm taking it easy and doing a bit of housework. That's actually not true. I'm doing a lot of housework.
I seem to have been suffering from the prevarication virus. I pick it up very easily.:p
Ruffles complained about the dust yesterday after she came in from her dust bath and had a shake in the middle of the floor.:rant
I struck a deal; I'll clean up if you forget about this sitting on eggs business. Unfortunately she called my bluff and went off with the rest of her tribe this morning. She came by with Fat Bird this afternoon to check on my progress.:(

Dani update: Bloodwork results are in and are excellent. Our decision - we are going to skip the internist visit. Metastases or not, I want that tumor removed before it ruptures and she bleeds out. If she is going to die of metastatic cancer anyways, maybe we can at least buy her a bit of time. If it is non malignant, maybe we can buy her a lot of time. The concern is that such tumors can rupture during surgery resulting in a bleed out on the table. I'm not a gambler, but I will take that gamble. She is scheduled for surgery a week from today.

Best wishes of your Dani, Sour.

I'm getting better at this forum stuff.
I had already typed out my reply when a little voice in my head said 'wait, humor, it's difficult for a lot of people on BYC'.
It was the picture combined with the title that did it.
My reply was "keep the ducks and lose the kid".:hmm:lol:

Sounds like a good plan!
