Mornin', y'all!:frow

@007Sean Jeepers, cheepers! And look at the legs on them thangs - you can sure tell they ain't chickens! Congrats, and happy hatching vibes!:fl

@DobieLover seems to me that the walkway is a "need" rather than a "want." Slipping on mud-slick plywood could put you out of the action, which you really can't afford to have happen.:hugs

Mentioning action, last night was the last performance for the Theater IV class. It was a short play (only about 30 minutes); the hurricane-interrupted school year having played havoc with the schedule, they only had a very short time to work on it. They done good, though - going out with a bang . . . or perhaps a scream would be more appropriate? The play was a lighthearted piece called "The Hallmarks of Horror," and was a showcase of the things that turn up in scary movies. BB2K had about 5 minutes to change into a Killer Clown; I just wish I had gotten a pic while she still had the wig on . . . .

"Does anyone else think it suddenly got cold in here?"
 Nice and scary!

I have heard of trials that go very well so the put end the trial early and put all groups on the drug

:fl

Links to information on the study I'm trying to get him in. I'm hopeful.

The last trial he was in was aborted less than half way through the study due to no significant improvement in cognitive function.

Typically, at the end of a trial, if the drug was determined to help, all participants are offered to continue treatment for free if they had been on the drug during the trial and control subjects are offered the opportunity to begin treatment for free.

Morning Cafe

Thanks for the coffee, Shad...I brewed a fresh pot. Have plain and chocolate glazed donuts, if anyone interested.

Slight chance for isolated severe storms last night....must have known I was isolated, :giggot hit pretty good, 2.5" of rain in 15 minutes.

Everyone make it a great day! :celebrate
Goodmorning cafe and thanks for the coffee and donuts. Sean, a little of that rain came through here about daybreak but nothing like 2.5 inches.

Well found out another thing. Went to go to my truck so I can go get some and my sister thought she needs to head to Bloomington for the day. There goes my truck for the day. Looks like I’m going to have to take the back roads on my tractor.

Can’t you go with her? Or she drops you off at the store? Or you go first then come back and give her the car or something? She can’t wait or just go with you? Or is it a long way away?

It does sound promising!

I hope he is in one of the treatment groups

Maybe a cycle would work? Unless your tractor has a good high speed

Not as well as I'd hoped.
TBH, I'm struggling with poor weather, lousy soil and motivation.
Dave just gets worse and worse. Every day there is something else he isn't doing or can't do. He still functions fine, I just have to take over more and more things. Alzheimer's doesn't take the person you love in big steps. It rips them away a little at a time. I'm having adjustment difficulties and feeling overwhelmed. But I'll slap myself out of it soon enough. I have high hopes for a better day today!!
On the good news front, the clinic I'd taken him to for an AD drug trial was accepted as a site for the COR388 clinical trial that I really wanted him in. I hope to have him down there within a month for testing and to start in the trial. This trial has 2 test groups and the control group so there is a better than 50/50 chance he'll get the drug. Fingers crossed for him. :fl
:hugs :fl
