I'm sitting here yet again on the phone with the help desk for computer issues. It's frustrating but I also don't have to talk to customers. Made a fresh pot, help yourselves.

I am meeting a lady to sell some chickens this weekend, and a man wants to buy roosters. And hopefully I will get the packing crate coop finished. Looks like I will be watering as well, hot and dry.

Good afternoon, Cafe.
Our company competed in the YMCA Corporate Challenge last night for perhaps the last time. Maybe it will continue in the small size company division.
We came in second place for the medium size company division. We all had a good time but the mood was decidedly subdued in comparison to previous years.
And boy was it a hot one! We didn't have anyone collapse at the finish line as I've seen in past years but several were laying down on the ground in the misting tent.

DL slipped past 50,000 likes without any fuss. That is some achievement in less than a year. In fact, I can't find anyone who comes even close to her ratio of posts to likes in such a short time span who isn't in the role playing crews.

Most of that, I'm sure, is being a member of the welcome committee but I do try to help out in other arenas when I have time.
Honestly, some of my most liked posts were some smart ass response in a featured thread. Like when I suggested that Cyprus live her bathroom and play with her shampoo bottles for fun if she felt it was okay to keep chickens without a run.

Congrats dobie!!!!

Been enjoying my unemployment actually. Got the yard mowed, the garden trimmed, burned some limbs and twigs, washed my truck, trimmed some trees, chased the ducks back to the pond, argued with the guineas (they won) and cleaned out the shed. Also found out that my young turkeys think I’m mama. They will not stop following me in the run and they try and sneak out when I leave.
