It does, but theres a big debate whether its bad for the other animals or not, so I stay on the 'better safe than sorry' side.

Speaking of controversial products. I'm always sitting on the fence with DE. As much as I disagree with using it for a lot of the stuff other people use it for, I do find it makes a great barrier inside the house because the ants don't like to cross it. I have lines of it running thru my whole house for those two bad ant months. You cant imagine the mess I have to clean up in October.

Ugh! You must live next door to my neighbors brother. I suspected you were babysitting by your dinner description (am I mashing threads again?)

Shad I feel your pain with the ants. That's every August & September here.

Coffee is made.
If you take sugar you'll have to pick the ants out.
I've got a major ant invasion here which is going to have to be dealt with.

Here I use advion ant bait. We have a multi state argentinian and colony to deal with

I am back from the store with fresh half and half. I will have some with coffee at lunch soon

My neighbor is so nosey! My daughter worked an extra shift last night and I kept her boys. She got here around 0400 to pick them up, was hardly in the house 5 minutes and his garage door was open with his fluorescent bulbs blazing when she left. He closed garage and went back inside less than a minute after she left.

He sits at his computer in the front room and peeks out the blinds to watch. Creeper.

I suggest you put on a show for the neighbor IM...make it risqué enough and maybe he'll keep his nose in his own business
