Thanks for the ideas. We go back again this Friday for the cognitive testing and blood samples for screening. If all that passes he goes for an MRI and oral exam and we start the trial.

:flI'm keeping everything crossed for him too!

He got a Ford Ranger. I'm calling it The Midlife Crisis Mobile.

I thought sports cars were midlife crisis mobiles

I was just teasing.;)
I can't remember which clan my family belong to. I would have to look at some documents. I had a kilt when I was a boy. I don't really have the legs for one these days.:p
Some members of my family are very pro Scottish and do the reunions and visits.
I suppose my view could be encapsulated by this quote.

"Pride should be reserved for something you achieve or obtain on your own, not something that happens by accident of birth. Being Irish isn't a skill… it's a ******* genetic accident. You wouldn't say I'm proud to be 5'11"; I'm proud to have a pre-disposition for colon cancer."

George Carlin.

One of the interesting things my mother mentioned about the USA is when her family emigrated there they got off the boat and became Americans. It was one of the few countries that encouraged this view in their immigration policy.
Even now if you emigrate to the UK for example being considered British can take many generations.

I think that depends on who you talk to Shad. This isn't the case in many circumstances. Those who don't feel that way are exclusionary racist garbage that need to learn we all live in one world without boundaries or nations :smack

I think things have changed since the time I mentioned above and of course, it was rather different if you weren't white.:(
There was a point when the one world with no boundaries looked a possibility. Unfortunately imo, Nationalism is popular politics currently and the politicians concentrate on emphasizing the differences, not the similarities. I hope it will 'pass' but I bet I pass before it does.

I don't agree with one world no borders. Quite frankly, there are practices in other countries I absolutely disagree with and would not migrate or even visit them for those reasons. I don't want some of those practices to become commonplace where I live and raise my family.

I agree!

I can understand that. My hope would be that in time such cultural extremes and abuses would disappear as exposure to other cultures become more common.
