BYC Café

Morning and thanks for the coffee! Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. I am a bit concerned about the fire danger and drunk campers but I guess it is either going to happen or not...
We are helping a friend get his winter hay put in the barn. I managed to sell one horse and working on another so the hay chore up here will not be overwhelming. Enjoy the day and I hope all is well!

I hear you about the drunk campers and fire danger Margie! And if the drunk campers don't do it, the drunk hunters might.

Have a good day and enjoy your weekend :D

We had an arson fire started about a mile up the road from us last night. Luckily, it's a stones throw from the VFD and everyone was there so they got it out right away.

Have you ever had guineas, Cap? Everything I've read says they play hell with ticks.
Yes, I built a big hoop coop for the guineas. But hubby got tired of listening to them so I sold them all. I used to sell a lot of keets. We have 13 acres, so it would be hard to have enough to really cut back the ticks.
