Good afternoon Café - brewed a fresh pot. Extremely small class today so I'll be able to rest my body. One more day, one more day.

Me too. Luckily the club grounds is only .4 mile away. For some reason the Princess doesn't believe that I did not know how close the club was when we bought this place.

That is real close I did duck hunt with a standard poodle in Juneau that was a million years ago but fed the ducks to the dogs

Showing seems like a lot of work and time! Huge commitment!

Though I may end up in it if/when I get my next dog. Not conformation though but I want to try agility and/or nose work and/or dock diving or obedience or something ha so still probably a lot of time and money. Although I’m not sure if we’ll even compete, may just play/train for fun or the exercise and mental stimulation or whatever but we’ll see... gotta get a dog first.

That’s awesome!! Poodles are nice dogs. People always think they are just foo foo dogs but in reality they are actually quite good athletes and actually were/are water retrievers like the other retrieveing breeds. At least the standards.

Morning and thanks for the coffee! Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. I am a bit concerned about the fire danger and drunk campers but I guess it is either going to happen or not...
We are helping a friend get his winter hay put in the barn. I managed to sell one horse and working on another so the hay chore up here will not be overwhelming. Enjoy the day and I hope all is well!

Good luck this weekend Margie. The older I get, the more Labor Day is becoming my favorite holiday. I kinda hold my breath & hide all summer till about a week after Labor Day when I can finally go out & breathe again.
