@Shadrach since you are quite a rooster expert, I thought I would ask your opinion on this story.

To me, it seems like the rooster was not being “aggressive” or “attacking” like they describe but rather just mistook the vein for a worm? Especially since it was only one or two pecks and then presumably he realized it wasn’t and stopped. Doesn’t seem like an attack to me. More like a tragic accident. Because even just knowing just a little about about rooster and chicken behavior, seems to me like if it was an attack he would have flown at her feet first and she would have spur injuries, big cuts, etc.? Seems to me like a curious rooster and a tragic accident but of course she died so they will call it an “attack.”
Either way, tragic she died.
