BYC Café

Afternoon, café! Sunny and around 70 today. Though, the weatherman is saying the snow is starting Saturday and a low of 28. :smackto the weatherman...

Hope the stress test goes well, Cap. I've heard those are no fun, but I suppose it depends on what kind of shape you're in. I think I've said before I'm not much of a runner:rolleyes:

@N F C Where are you off to with your cold? I feel like I may have read the post, but I can't recall. Grandma always made us a glass of apple cider vinegar, a healthy shot of cayenne pepper and good glob of fresh honey to drink. Disgusting, but pretty sure it works :D

@penny1960 still not doing well? That one is really hanging on.

@DobieLover I also prefer females to males for THAT reason (the peeing on everything), but I can't say I've had a male pee on another dog before haha. :gigOur male lab taught my female St. Bernard to lift her leg when she was around 3yrs old? That was, and still is, an odd sight. She is especially bad at it.

Thanks Meg, I am too fat to move very fast and I can't take my allergy meds so I will likely be coughing.

Thanks, its frustrating because my last Cardiologist says any future stress tests will be abnormal due to narrowing in that artery. Just a waste of time and money if you ask me.

What does the stress test tell them? Can it indicate there's further narrowing?

I am also scheduled for an echo, in another month, which should tell them something. As far as I am concerned a stress test will not tell them anything new.

After my first stress test, doctor wanted to know if I had any problems. When I said "Yes", he replied, "Shortness of breath, right?" "No, they kept telling me to slow down." :lau Echocardiogram indicated an aortic valve problem that I may very well have had my entire life.

In addition to Seans most excellent suggestion, have you ever tried ionic silver spray? It works great.
I am very lucky in that I haven't been ill since March of 2015. I quit working full time in June of that year. I think that had a lot to do with it.

Hey there CMom actually recommended a product call Clear Lungs found it on Amazon so ordered it and thanked her thought @N F C might want to get some for her trip gave the link to it

Never heard of the ionic silver or the Clear Lungs but I leave in the morning so no time to order. It's pretty much just a bad cold/sore throat so I think I'll be ok. Thanks for the suggestions!

Possible snow on Saturday? That's just crazy! I know it's unavoidable, but seems like summer was just here.

My son and I are headed off to Devil's Monument. Neither one of us has been there before so thought we'd check it out. I'll be back late Friday.
