BYC Café

Thanks but it gives me the jitters. Caffeine I guess but tea doesn't effect me. Idk

Tea and coffee have different types of caffeine in them. Coffee caffeine gives the system a jolt where tea caffeine takes a smoother ride. Pound per pound, tea actually has more caffeine in it than coffee, but most people don't use as much tea to make a cup as they would coffee.

There you have it...one of my old tea & spice shop spiels!

Glad you made it ok Dobie! Cap said something about pies and there is pie talk in the Home Baker's thread so guess it's going around :)
:drool
A nice warm piece of pie on a cool crisp autumn day... I think I'm going to have to be naughty and have a piece!

Fascinating stuff! So, if I have a cup of coffee to start with, then follow up with a cup of tea later, does it work like mixing NSAIDs - double the effect, without the risk of an overdose?

Guess that would depend on how sensitive you are to caffeine Bunny. It doesn't bother me at all but suppose everyone is different.

Pick them and bring them inside. Unless temperature is really low they may be fine. I'll be picking all of the green tomatoes when I get prediction of a heavy frost. With luck I'll have tomatoes through Nov.
Unfortunately, it was down to 26 Saturday night and 24 last night. They may have been okay, but were slightly exposed :hmm I did go get a zucchini out of the garden that was buried!

I read an article online this morning that parts of Montana got like 4' of snow already. I have to hand it to you guys...you don't do anything in a small way
