BYC Café

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is made.
Blue sky and sunshine here today.
The last couple of days heavy rain killed six people in Catalonia apparently.
Nobody seems quite sure how many have died further South but from the new footage the damage looks major.
Two of the local tracks further up the mountain that get used to move around the side of the mountain are gone. I'm told they will stay gone until the sheep work their way accross them in the spring.

Sorry to hear about all the destruction...hope those problems stay far away from you!

Very interesting stuff! About the guys that got heated about women keeping chickens...is it mainly a man's job to do that in your part of Spain?

Oh boy! :yaI cant wait to tell DH that poultry keeping is mans work & he's got a plethora of new chores. :celebrate

Black and yellow garden spider - the female dies shortly after laying her eggs, and the spiderlings do not hatch until spring. I'll be moving the egg sack to a safer location.

I'm sorry about your spider Sour! :hugs That was both a sweet & sad story. You know I would never question your wisdom, but I have wonder if that spider doesn't know whats better for her eggs than you do? Surely theres a reason she put them there than somewhere else. I'm not sure I would move them.

Good morning, all!

Sorry to hear about the disasters in your world, Shad. Are the deaths from the flooding or mudslides or both? Are you supposed to get a break from the rain?

Congrats on the potential job, Dobie! Hopefully it works out.

That's a lot of snow, Margie

Where do you plan on putting the egg sack, Sour?
It's been sunny and warm here all day Meg.

Morning all another pot if anyone wants one me already one the second one
Shad so sorry of the loss of life we are flat lander here
Sean do you really have winter ? we had snow last year for at least a week last year
The loss of life is just one of those things Penny. What is much more distressing is people have lost their homes, animals, jobs, everything. Being dead is easy, living is the hard part.

I thought Frankie did all the chickens work.:p
It's just different. Here on BYC it's mostly women. Here where I am it's mostly men.
I'm with the men.
