Well figure this out Dish sent a remote did not ask for it they sent me a remote to use it has google assistant I said No thank you today my other remote did not function anymore they were determined I use the new one much to the techs surprise I was determined not to allow a system to hear me that is why we have a phone right
this is my bent I can remove msn from any machine never allowed it to control me why in the great space would I ever allow all controlling goggle in even spell check wants me to capitalize google and msn

That sort of stuff is what in part made me switch to Linux as an operating system.

It is google I go to for searching or maps if I want to call it S O B I will and do not ever want to have to talk to it JMHO

I'm with ya, fall has always been my favorite ('tis fall there, correct? ) We didn't get much of it this year. I always love to see the leaves turning, but it froze hard and fast so we've got a lot of green or brown dead leaves on the ground.

There is some gorgeous color popping out here and there -we passed on the bus. The neighbors blankety blank filthy Maple trees aren't losing their leaves yet. The companies out here only clean gutters to mid-November.

Tribe 3
Knock has slowly integrated the chicks into the tribe during the past few days. It's been interesting to watch. Even Donk, her mum and the chicks grandmum, seems to have accepted the chicks and isn't so hostile towards Knock. This is good for me because it's one less group to find.
This stage is also when chicks disappear. Mum follows the tribe but the chicks are often nervous, or over confident and haven't learn't to keep tight to the tribe.
One advantage of having chicks at around 6 weeks old or more in the early winter is when you free range is the rooster spends more time with the tribe because the hens have stopped laying for the winter; mostly. That means no nest hunting and no escort duties. I can pick the roosters out by their call and if there is a problem with Knock and the chicks, I'll hear about it. Before, I would have to find them and check.

Tribe 1
Fudge is eating the commercial feed more and not wandering around on her own with periodic checks by me and Treacle. She spent most of the day with her tribe and her bum is almost done and she has enough primary feathers grown to offer some protection.
Tackle on the other hand is a bit of a mess. She's been hanging around with Fudge yesterday and today and if Fudge is back with the tribe and Tackle is sticking close to her then that's another one, or two I don't have to look for.

Tribe 2
The three witches (Bracket, Hinge and Nolia) are trying to get the two remaining chicks up the magnolia tree late evening.Punch and Mag are already roosting in their usual spots. The adults will come down if not with a bribe, a bit of encouragement.
Chicks tend to hang on like grim death when they first roost up a tree. I'm hoping they will follow the adults down, or do as they are now where one of the witches takes the chicks into the coop while the other go up the tree.

I managed to "finish" the walkway. My back is in torment. This was a wider walkway and I had stretch out to my furthest reach holding a very slippery somewhat heavy jar of product and carefully drizzle it onto the pea stones. I also had to draw the Gravel Lok up in a 10cc syringe to drizzle it under the siding and near the siding so I didn't slop it ON the siding with the jar. The leaves are coming down in buckets and blowing onto the walkway. I may have some well adhered by morning.
I could not get the lid off the Gravel Lok jug. It was fused on as I didn't clean the material off the rim after the first walkway application. So I had to drill a hole in the side of the jug. I still have a bit over a quart left that I want to use for spot touch up on both walkways so I wrapped the jug in saran wrap and taped over the hole to reinforce it. Time will tell if that keeps the product usable.

A hot, steamy shower and some Aspercream will help with the back. And once you're back is better, would you please share a picture?
