It's not just a rumor, the upgrade is going to happen. Just a question of when. We've made it through these before and we're still standing...guess that will happen with this latest upgrade too!

I asked on a thread in announcements if it was a xenforo update or a whole new server format. Updates are usually not as big of a deal as moving to a new format.

I am totally out of the loop on this one...maybe if I stay under the radar they will not tap me to fix any messes this time...

I see you found the latest thread about it. Change can be trying, but overall, I think it will be a good one.

this will not be that big of a change. The last one was a move to new servers and data had to be moved which did not go well. Lots of sites were broken and members like George lost their logins.

This one will not involve all of that

It is understandable then that many would have a bit of ptsd from the last change.

BYC needs a better information service for things like this! Imagine logging in after the change and not knowing what happened over night.

The change is likely to happen in a week or two so hopefully it will all go well

I neglected to mention that on the way into the beagle club yesterday I saw a very large coyote in a field that the farmer just tilled and planted. Several years ago a deer hunter shot a female on my property that weighed 53 pounds - this animal looked even larger.

Wow Sour that is the size of them when I was a child in Wisconsin .. I am thrilled with change anymore like stability in life but enjoy myself a great deal here and made it through the last one

Idk what she was thinking. No other chickens down there!
